The Pittsburgh Steelers have created a new look for their fans that provides the essentials to sporting the black and gold whether you’re at the game, on the street, or in the office.

Led by the Steelers new director of strategic planning, Susan McGalla, the Steelers have launched a new website that makes shopping for gear even easier than it has been in the past. It can be found at here.

However, this isn’t Susan McGalla’s first rodeo in the merchandising arena. She has years of experience in the retail world leading mega retailers in the US market such as American Eagle Outfitters, Inc.

Susan McGalla has taken a direct approach of listening to what the fans want out of their merchandise experience. Often times, she will take in the information, analyze the needs and wants of the fans, and deliver the product.

Since she has taken over the helm of strategic planning for the Steelers, the organization has made it much easier to purchase official sideline by labeling all official apparel with the “Wear What We Wear” tag. Susan McGalla has also addressed the needs and wants of lady Steeler fans by introducing street wear with new cuts that are designed to fit the female form or by including features into the clothing such as thumbholes for those chilly Pittsburgh days.

In addition to the new sideline gear and woman’s cut clothing, the Steelers have introduced lines that cater to men and children. They’ve introduced a line that allow men to show off their allegiance to Steeler Nation at work and created a flashier look for toddlers by producing a number of new designs that stand out, such as the pink animal print.

All in all, McGalla and the Steelers are taking a new innovative approach by outfitting their fans with clothing that fits a more modern mold.
